Stryker Inflatable Boats Launching Wheel Install

REQUIRED TOOLS

Clamp
Tape Measure
Center Punch or Small Drill Bit
Drill w/ 5/16″ or 8mm Bit
13mm Wrench
5mm Allen Key

HARDWARE

4 x 50 mm Stainless Bolts
4 x Washers
4 x Locking Washers
2 x Launching Wheels
2 x Launching Wheel Brackets

Step 1 - Locate the Mounting Plate:

Identify the dedicated mounting plate on either side of the transom.
Do not drill into the transom itself — drill only into the mounting plate
Drill using a 5/16″ (or 8 mm) bit at the marked positions.
Again, only drill through the mounting plate, not the full transom.
Attach the bracket using the supplied bolts.
Tighten with a 13 mm wrench and 5 mm Allen key.

Step 2 - Position The Bracket

Place the wheel bracket flush against the bottom edge of the dedicated mounting plate on the transom.
Ensure the bracket extends 1 inch on either side for proper alignment.
Use a clamp or hand to hold the bracket in place once aligned.
Double-check the placement using your tape measure.

Step 3 - Mark The Holes

Use a centre punch or 5/32″ drill bit to mark pilot holes through the bracket holes.

Step 4 - Drill The Mounting Holes

Drill using a 5/16″ (or 8 mm) bit at the marked positions.
Again, only drill through the mounting plate, not the full transom.

Step 5 - Install The Hardware

Attach the bracket using the supplied bolts.
Tighten with a 13 mm wrench and 5 mm Allen key.

Important Note

Always ensure you’re drilling into the dedicated mounting plate only, not the full transom structure.
